Power and signal decide the build
No mains power and no cell service is the normal case and exactly what this is for. But a north-facing site under heavy canopy in Montana needs a different station than a fence line in Texas.

What exactly is Territory Remote?
A modular off-grid property monitoring platform — satellite connectivity, independent solar power, cameras, wireless sensors, and one dashboard — developed by Territory Holdings and offered to hunting-property owners through HunterPass. It is a preconfigured kit shipped to you, with instructions and US-based technical support. It is not an on-site installation service.
Does it need cell service?
No. Connectivity runs over Starlink Mini, which works independently of cellular coverage. That is the entire reason it exists — the ground worth watching is usually the ground with no bars on it.
Does it need power at the property?
No. The station runs on its own 400W ground-mounted solar array and a 200Ah heated lithium battery bank, managed by an industrial MPPT charge controller. Ground-mounted is deliberate: you service the array without climbing anything.
Is this a trail camera?
No, and it does not replace one. A trail camera tells you what walked past a specific tree. This tells you what is happening at your gate, your camp, your equipment shed, and your access road — continuously, on a live connection, from anywhere. Most properties want both.
What does it cost?
Pricing is quoted per configuration, because a one-camera gate station and a multi-camera property with a weather module and cold-weather power are genuinely different products. Submitting a configuration creates a non-binding inquiry — no payment is collected and none is implied. Territory Remote confirms availability, freight, and site requirements before any order is accepted.
Is there a monthly fee?
No recurring Territory Remote or HunterPass monitoring fee is currently required for the base station. You establish and maintain your own Starlink account, plus any optional third-party recording plan.
Will it survive a northern winter?
The battery bank is heated, and there is a Cold Weather Power Upgrade that adds solar generation and battery capacity for demanding winter sites. Reduced daylight, cold temperatures, and higher accessory loads all increase power demand, so on a northern property that upgrade is usually the right call rather than an optional extra.
